This CD is the first recording of the new William Drake organ in the OBE Chapel of St Paul’s Cathedral, a masterpiece that marks the final instrument completed by the esteemed organ builder in 2012. Known for its cosmopolitan-eclectic design, this organ combines German and English influences, offering a stunning and rich sound.

Timothy Wakerell, then Assistant Organist at St Paul’s Cathedral and now Assistant at New College, Oxford, performs with exceptional artistry on this unique instrument. His talent and passion for the organ bring the beauty of the new Drake organ to life in a captivating performance.
